TitleVerify is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Information we collect
We collect the details you give us when you search, create an account or submit an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number, budget range and the notes you write. We also collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the platform, pass qualified enquiries to the relevant licensed agent, send the alerts you have asked for, and improve search results. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Sharing with agents
When you submit an enquiry about a listing, your name, contact details and message are sent to the listing agent and their agency so they can respond. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policy.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.
5. Data security and retention
Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with access limited to staff who need it. We retain enquiry records for seven years to meet Australian record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymise them.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Australian users can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you believe we have mishandled your data.
